A. JESSE JIRYU DAVIS PHOTOGRAPHY

A. Jesse Jiryu Davis is a portrait photographer based in New York City, trained at the International Center of Photography.

Jesse has covered events, created editorial portraits, and photographed landscapes for Der Spiegel, New York Magazine, The Village Voice, Time Out New York, and The Lo-Down NY. Currently, he is documenting the Lower East Side, and Zen Buddhists in New York City.

In past lives, Jesse earned a BA in Computer Science from Oberlin College, and trained for a year in a Zen monastery.
